I went one step further and read the FAA 2008 document( followed the link from this article). 1/ Boeing and FAA started talking on this in 2003 ( 5 years ago). GREAT! 2/ Regulation was released in mid-2007 and between now and then MOST back-and-forth between FAA and industry was with AIRBUS.
Does this mean that AIRBUS is caught with out-of-spec design? Comments, please
