    I need to invest in more bonds. However I think I will wait for interest rates to rise. We are at historically low rates and bonds are long term investments. At least that has been my excuse since college in 1979. Bond returns were much higher and above 10% for some good corporates.

    By the same token I have seen some outstanding distressed debt with great returns in the past 6 months. That is probably how I will get started with a debt portfolio.

    Still as an investor that generally likes quality long term value, debt is hard to get excited about.
