Barely Legal: IBM Move Saved $1.6B In Taxes
not a cheap shot at all and as i finished up saying i want to know if the other multinationals in my portfolio did it and if not, why?

Ethanol Has OPEC Publicly Concerned
I think in order to get to "z", we need to start at "a" and corn ethanol is just that. yield are improving everyday and the cellulose technology is only a couple of years away. we can do it now, just not as cheaply as corn. the cost is falling regularly though and it is not a question of "if" but "when". ADM is in the game here now and based on their past, they do not bet on anything that is not almost a sure thing
Altria's Marlboro Chew Will Be A Mega Hit
this is now officially a "marlboro" brand now. While "chew" users are "not as loyal" as smokers, they are still some of the most brand loyal folks out there.
remember, this is not you father's "chew". it is new

since RIMM has the most economical products available on ALL networks, they will benefit..
I agree
No position in RIMM, do own a blackberry
Apple: Priced for Perfection
I have "no bone" with Apple. I have said many times it is a great company, i just do not think a $600 phone from only 1 provider on a lousy network will be anything more than a bit product...
simple
I also believe I said "lower the price to $299" and it will sell big?
Apple: Priced for Perfection
you seem to miss the essence of the "blog". that is what we do, draw conclusions from information as we see it. right or wrong, time will tell.....
"commentary" involves drawing a conclusion, "reporting" is a recitation after the fact. If the SA editors wanted that here they would not need us, they would simply cut and paste from newspapers. You also would not be reading all my posts like you do.... no?
as for MSFT, I think the worst thing a company can have happen to it is irrelevance or apathy, MSFT has achieved that
