How Retail Investors Might Play Julian Robertson's Ideas [View article]
A play on interest rates is buying a stock like Annaly (NLY). It has been a good investment for me as its a it borrows money short term to buy long term agency mortgages. It it leveraged around 8 times. It is basically a yield curve play as it take interest rate risk but no credit risks as it deals exclusively with agency guaranteed mortgages. I plan to sell when the yield curve starts to flatten out.
