    AMD's problem and its sole reason to continue is Intel. Any ephemeral 'edge' AMD can establish will be quickly blunted by an Intel "me too". Get real, AMD has no design edge over Intel that the market won't discount as being only temporary. However, AMD will remain a marginal alternative for that very reason; a stick to discipline Intel and as a rabbit to chase down any innovation they bring to market.
