Do Mac and Windows Users Read Blogs Differently?

windows user's are used to 4 or 5 weeks on the phone with tech support every time they try something new or even if they haven't done it in a while and windows disabled it "for their own good" I did notice all my windows using friends stand up at attention when they heard of any other OS than windows that they might use only to sit down again with a look of long suffering resignation when i explained centralized Applications to them.

Marketing and branding is all about creating tribes. when you buy a brand you join the tribe, you feel the cool when you see a fellow BMW driver or a nike wearer, Watches got ridiculously big so you could be sure your Michelle or Charioll would be noticed on your wrist. making the pod phones white was the marketing genus move instead of blending it into your hair it broadcast your tribal affiliation. Every time a pod owner sees white earphones he knows that person is having the same sort of great user experience and is warmed by the wisdom of their purchase. the next important thing in marketing Pride in ownership now get out of that pc tribe your obviously not proud to belong and come and play with the cool Kids. spring for 50 dollars and buy yourself a shuffle you will feel better for it.

Apple, Microsoft Run for the Clouds in the New Client Software War

Apple has always been a software company that happens to make great hardware to run it on at one point they will realize this and allow the mac os to run on any hardware then the great GUI ( graphic user interface) will spread like wildfire the thing Redmond never gets is that instead of making us set things up for what we want to do from scratch they should have the os set to do what we most likely want to do and allow it to be changed from there. apple anticipates our needs so well and understands that there should be many paths to what you want to do with your machine that it will surely be the winner in the clouds or on the desktop someday soon. the corporate world is just starting to see that it is better to have someone creating a document than calling for the it department to figure out how to open one. productivity will eventually give apple the edge.

What's Yahoo's Next Move?

this is not apples thing… yahoo would not fit in the apple pantheon. this whole bother you to death with adverts with a minimal amount of usefulness to make money is a windows approach, my mac has a google search window in its browser it works fine we don't need a headache on the mac. let Blamer have this one
