Nice going Bill, especially saying goodbye to GE.
AAPL just isn't doing it as a dividend grower.
You picked some really nice replacements. IMO: Rose.

  • Johnson & Johnson Shows Its Strength, I'm Hoping For A 3% Yield [View article]
Nice article. With JNJ you get what you pay for = Quality (AAA).
Raise coming soon. It is Fair Value now and as you say could get even better. I have a full position, but if does hit $93, I will be buying with you all.
    :)) Rose.

  • A Fink Speaks The Truth [View article]
    Hi George,
I gotta agree with the stock buy backs as being contrived and somewhat strange reasoning.
Smurf comment about Dividend raises rings true. Those raises usually come with an increased stock price value to keep the yield in a range. Now when the price falls and the dividends increase there could be trouble lurking. Time to investigate underneath the hood.
We must always keep "fink"ing. Names are always interesting and kids will always find a way to distort them. We need to keep our sense of humor, one of the reasons I read your articles. :))
    Happy Investing :)) Rose.

I also added TROW and we all will grow together. (my only other financial is WFC).
You are Quality all the way. IMO: Rose. Happy Investing :))

  • 3 Ways For Prospect Capital To Create Value For Shareholders, Instantly [View article]
You are very lucky with your PSEC with the low accumulation price and you can still sell at a nice profit. I , on the other hand, have only seen the negative side of this company and have offered my experience.
PSEC might still offer some up side, but I just don't "get it or Like it"
I own MAIN ( I am well aware, it even offers some Risk). I think it might just head down again <$30 and it would be a good alternative. I would even consider adding for myself @ <29. I have a large position and really don't need more. So far it has been good for me.
Happy Investing Always. Glad to know you are "thinking & learning".
    IMO: Rose

  • Home Do-It-Yourselfers Can Buy Themselves A Latte, Or Build A Solid Dividend Retirement, A Buck At A Time [View article]
Always enjoyable articles. $ Saving is Easy. My husband & I both learned from some pretty stingy parents that lived through the depression. You do Everything yourself, save everything (it can be used some where some how) They Never skimped on the dentist, shoes, and our education. We always had some kind of job even while going to school. Most of our memories are positive and loving, some others might not be so lucky. Hopefully everyone has learned in a good way.

Glad to see you have T and VZ. My only big concern for your portfolio is CTL. I wish you had sold @ 40, when I had first mentioned my distrust in it. It, in my opinion is headed for a dividend cut. The balance sheet still isn't balancing. BB+ credit, -4.8% dividend 5 yr CAGR, better than the 3 yr of -8.9. I had owned it at one time, but enjoy the positive #s of T & VZ. Just Me. Happy Investing :)) IMO: Rose.

  • Dividend Champions, Contenders And Challengers With 10-Year Declining Dividend Growth Rates [View article]
    Thanks DVK,
Always important to check which way the growth is headed and if it is just a blimp or a trend. It is a part of my due diligence and yearly (sometimes quarterly) evaluation of the portfolio. IMO: Rose.

  • Mr. Valuation Disagrees With Henry Blodget: 'It's A Market Of Stocks' Is Not A Meaningless Phrase [View article]
I "get it" and thank you for the FAST graphs on some stocks in the market.
Too many people take things literally and we must all read between the lines and find "true Meaning".
    Happy Investing :)) Rose.

  • Target: Up Almost 40% In 6 Months, Now What? [View article]
TGT Dividend Aristocrat Champion has M* A credit rating and 5yr CAGR of 24.5.
Free Cash Flow is fine, but the PO ratio is high. Leaving Canada was a hit.
The PE is 18 which is about normal . It is now perhaps not a great buy, but FV.
As long as the CAGR favorably continues , it is doing everything I purchased it for.
    Long TGT. IMO: Rose.
