      What's Driving Fannie and Freddie
my question is: will Freddie and Mannie be around for the long-term? If yes, then they're at rock-bottom prices to buy.

16 Stocks That Are Paying My College Tuition
My question is: do *any* of these stocks pay dividends, and if so, how consistently?

You claim that these stocks are making you money (paying for your college tuition), but you only realize the profit when you *sell*. So, how much have you actually realized to date with these stocks?

Satellite Radio: Wall Street Isn't Seeing the Full Picture
2 questions (Note - I live outside the US):

      * In winter, would the satellite reception get messed up in bad weather? My satellite TV reception can get pretty poor during storms.

      * If the above question is "yes", is radio reception also poor during storms?

      * Technologically, could satellite phones be incorporated into cars using Sirius technology (or has this already happened :)? This would be a great back-up for people that travel a lot, in areas with no cellphone reception.

Dividend Paying Stocks: Don't Discount Them Just Yet
I think the greatest point in the article was the comparison between the types of businesses of dividend and non-dividend stocks. On the whole, the non-dividend stock constantly need to innovate to stay ahead, whereas the dividend stocks generally have solid products, which don't need to be changed, which customers buy again and again in an up or down economy.

The products will never change (at least not anytime soon), but the companies have the cash to simply buy other companies with solid products, and add this to their own array of products.

      Blogonomics: The Seeking Alpha Model
It seems that the point of the article is a response to something Barry Ritholtz wrote.

I did not read Barry's article, but I wanted to, in order to get a bit of background info before reading your article.

I did a very quick search on SA for "Barry Ritholtz", but couldn't find anything directly relating to this.

So, which article of his are you responding to?

I think most will agree that SA has really made life easier. There is so much info out there on the net, but the articles and info on SA takes the best of what is out there, and puts it on one website.

So, thank you for this! Continue doing what you need to do in order to survive and thrive.

Sex May Sell, But Is It Profitable?
Interesting that you say Rick's is vulnerable to a recession.

I would think that sex, gambling, alcohol and cigarette companies would do fairly well in recessions.

      Why do you say otherwise?
