  • 5 Reasons Why General Electric Shares Should Be Heading Lower  [View article]

I was merely pointing out the inaccuracies with the author's information and my differing analysis.

I agree that if the scenario is continued financial turmoil, it will be a bumpy road for all cyclical stocks. Although, GE has significantly delevered and reduced exposure to more financially sensitive aspects of itsl BS. IMO, this explains the outperformance to SI.

  • 5 Reasons Why General Electric Shares Should Be Heading Lower  [View article]
There are several issues with this article:
    1. Siemens does not have an aviation business
    2. GE industrial margins are several points higher than Siemens ...
    3. GE Capital is the reason for the much higher debt levels ... Comparing the balance sheets in your analysis is an apples to oranges comparison. GE financial arm is significantlyless leveraged than comparable financial institutions.
    4. Strengthening dollar has little effect on naturally hedged global supply chains.
    5. Divi payout ratio less than 50%. Littl risk unless we get an all out meltdown.

  • Why Vestas Is Undervalued  [View article]
    Too many downside catalysts here.
    1. End of US PTC
    2. Notorious for guidance misses
    3. No pricing discipline
    4. No gas glut end in sight

Only upside is a take over bid from an energy or PE suitor. I wouldn't bet on that with your money.
