Will Apple Increase iPhone Value with Rumored Verizon Deal? [View article]
please don't give verizon so much credit ...I am glad I switched from verizon to ATT which gives e the best coverage and above average customer support as far as which 3G is the best it really depends where you are using it from, I have had speed problems with both
molytjm..Apple in the 80's was not financially clueless they always had a large amount of free cash and no debt, wall street ahd most people believe Apple was n the brink of collapse while in reality it was far from it. How do you think Steve Jobs funded all the new R&D that gave us the first imac to start?? Apple in the 80 early 90 was not financially clueless, Apple was technologically clueless , no new ideas and no new interesting products .. the reason is it was run by good money managers but horrible thinkers
Apple Confirms: No Online iPhone 3G Sales, In-Store Activation Only [View article]
ATT already announced they will sell the phone without the plan , don't remember the pricing but I think it's is like the first Generation iPhone so for those who want to unlock them , that is certainly a good alternative
3G Video calls would be nice but how many people have this feature on their phone ?? so who would you video call ??? kind of like the Zune flawed music sharing .. now when Apple sells 40-50 mil iPhones they can think about throwing in a little extra camera plus I am sure the battery life will be cut in half with a video camera, suddenly a 15-20 minutes call can drain your phone.. then people wil be bitching about that too LOL
Amid iPhone's International Rollout, 10 Million Units Isn't a Stretch [View article]
16 to 18 mil is my mark for 08, 10 mil is not reasonable anymore and most likely it will blow past the 18 mil depending on the new 3g iphone and if hey will introduce lower cost models we are talking at a possible 45-65 mil in 09
Apple's $199 iPhone Is a Game-Changer [View article]
"PC guys are not going to just figure this out. They're not going to just walk in.''
LOL what a moron.. more so considering there would be no Palm or Graffiti without Apple , Palm was started by an ex Apple employee and the Newton/emate had all the Palm features (more actually) including the graffiti recognition software LOL I can't stop laughing about these corporate morons ... Although I am sympathetic with Palm because they always supported the Mac , it's because of people like Ed Colligan they are in the shit not because Apple or Rimm have a better product. They had years to come up with a new device but when CEO's gets cocky about their product that's where they end up.. in the crapper Rimm is doing the same thing , feeling confident Apple can't touch their precious corporate market , let's just wait and see
Wanted, Dead or Alive: The iPhone Killer [View article]
I think the only killer of the original iPhone will be the next version of the iPhone..
from what I see out there it looks like even the coolest smart phone is nothing but a mediocre clone of Apple's iPhone minus the user experience from the OS. Cell phone companies are not used to innovate at this level, al they did in the past to "innovate" was to offer more megapixel in the phone camera and a newer design . In terms of functionality today's cell phones are not much different than the phones from the 80's, in almost 30 years all they added is a camera and a keyboard
