The main complaint from the no new taxes crowd is that flooding the US Treasury (Congress implied) is that reckless spending ensues shortly thereafter. Look at what the Democratic congress did with the increaing revenues after Reagan's tax cuts and again after Bush 43 tax cuts. They wiped their asses with earmarks like toilet paper and flushed our tax dollars down the toilet. There is a 50% tax increase looming out in the never-speak land to "fix" Social Security again. Our children won't be able to leave home because their net paychecks won't allow it. You're out of touch with reality like your Socialist elite friends.
