    The comments of Hu (who?) bring to mind an old saying from the currency trading world: "Nothing is confirmed until it has been officially denied."

    And guess what? A recent article in the "Economist" reports that both China and Japan have in recent months accelerated their purchases of U.S. Treasury securities.

    MBLX has a remarkable history: three deep pocketed private investors poured some $50 million into the R&D for fifteen years! Their connection with ADM is also un-paralleled. ADM invested on the order of $200 million in the plant that is a joint venture with MBLX. What is your quess as to the market potential if ADM was willing to invest $200 million in the plant.

    An interesting side light I heard at a presentation by MBLX's President: they are unable to package yogurt in this material as the yogurt cultures would eat the package!! Really.

    Gold can be part of one's response, but oil and gas that are in the ground in North America are as good as gold.
