Yahoo's Yang Sticks It to Shareholders and Employees
Its really a shame that General Yang has decided to take advantage of not only the shareholders but all his "rock" employees as well. I guess its take the money and run type of corporate thinking. Its too bad that the senators that had investigated Yahoo for the China incident didn't fine Yahoo in the process, that would have served him right.

      Yahoo Staffers Clogging the Exits
If Microsoft wins, thousands of Yahoo employees will be getting the pink slips and they know this, maybe thats why the chosen few are leaving ahead of time before this happens, and Jerry Yang calls his employees "rocks"! Maybe without these employees Yahoo will be worth a lot less.

Yahoo's Audacious Option: Who Would Pay $50 for an $18 Stock?
If Yahoo intends to succeed, then Jerry Yang should step down and allow another, more experienced turn-around CEO to lead the company into new frontiers and profitability.

Yahoo and AOL: Desperation All Around
I think Jerry is trying to buy time so he can figure out what his next move will be. If newscorps does invest in Yahoo, things could get a little dicey for Microsoft.

Microsoft Joining Yahoo: Not As Bad As Some Think
The deal between Microsoft and Yahoo reminds me of the Daimler/Chrysler deal, and we all know what happened with that, don't we? I think Microsoft has a hidden agenda for taking over Yahoo, plans that the CEO of Microsoft sure isn't going to reveal to Jerry Yang, up front. Its a game of cat and mouse, with Microsoft being the cat.

      Yahoo!'s Mismanagement Shows Through
The very best thing that Yahoo Stockholders can do, is to sell their stock now and buy Google! Without the Microsoft rescue, their stock would have continued to decrease in value and would eventually bottom out around $8.00 per share. if I owned Yahoo stock, I'd have sold it faster than a dog can scratch for fleas when Microsoft offer became public and invested in a real champion, Google!

Microsoft-Yahoo: What Will Stay, What Will Go?
If Google were to restart their Q&A site again, without charging for questions or answers, they would quickly see that the major advertisers would want to post ads on their sites, as it would become very popular with thousands of users that are now being forced to deal with the Yahoo abuse and unfair treatment, many of these current yahoo users would gladly jump ship and go over to Google and the advertisers would follow because they want their ads to be seen on the most popular sites, sites that give them the greatest exposure for their products. Yahoo and Microsoft will need these major advertisers on their side if they ever hope to beat Google and capture more of the market share, and this also means that Yahoo will need to take a closer look at exactly what their employees are doing on the Yahoo Answers that is making many people angry with this very unfair treatment. Perhaps its time for Mr. Yang to clean the Yahoo Answers house, if he wants to keep the users and advertisers.....

What Good Might Emerge from a Microsoft Controlled Flickr?
That would be nice if Microsoft took over that Yahoo site, maybe they could screen out some of the pornographic photos that Yahoo continues to all to be posted, which only cheapens the site rather then to help it, as Microsoft will censor what type of contents are posted on the site, something that Yahoo doesn't seem to want to do. I believe that quality photography is the key to success of this site, not cheap porno. I do not speak with a forked tongue, I do have the proof to back up my statement.

Google's Page, Brin and Brilliant on Clean Energy from Davos '08
PS. I have put together a business letter addressed to:

Dr. Larry Brilliant, Executive Director, Google.org and will be mailing it shortly. Then we will see if they are really sincere about renewable energy solutions to the energy problem or are just talking about finding solutions to it.

      Action speaks louder then words!

      Thanks

I have found such a way to produce electricity and very cheaply, unlimited amounts of pure electricity, 24/7, 365 a year, and will easily replace the needs to use nuclear energy, coal-fired plants, wind, water, geothermal, etc, etc. I don't want this new energy source to replace the other types of renewable energy systems that exist, using renewable energy, in whatever form such as wind, thermal and high kite flying are all good, but using coal-fired plants, nuclear energy is all bad. It will take team work to accomplish these renewable energy goals, so lets all work together and make it happen
