While I don't have enough thoughts on the short term lookout, I believe the long term trend is towards growing ARPU - the broadband service is so commoditized and competitive that there is hardly any chance of growing the ARPU - while there are tremendous opportunities in growing ARPU for wireless vendors - increase data plan penetration, provide cell modems for laptops, netbooks, wireless photo frames, kindle type devices etc., SMS and other services ... are similar things to increase broadband ARPU on the horizon? Regarding video - the cable companies are already charging arm and a leg for video services, DVR etc. hard to see them being able to grow on top of that ...
