  • Will Ireland Be Luckier than Iceland? [View article]
Your last sentence:- "However Ireland was much less exposed than Iceland, so it seems very unlikely that the luck of the Irish will be better than that of the Icelandic." is contradictory. Would you like to correct it?

  • Correction and Clarification to Tysabri Post [View article]
    Brett,

Thanks for correcting the Remicade error. I'm curious about something else though. Other responders to your article made it clear that there are has never been a case of PML with Tysabri in a monotherapy setting. This is the only way that Tysabri can be administered. Therefore there are no links as such to PML in the way that Tysabri is currently being administered. The links are to Tysabti/Avonex and to Tysabry/Azathioprine combination usage and we do not know, in these cases even if Tysabri was a causative agent. Why is so difficult for writers, such as yourself to simply write that there has, to date, in over 20,000 patients, never been a case of PML in Tysabri monotherapy. Surely the MS patients currently taking the medication deserve to know this simple fact instead of being scared by partially false and misleading information?

  • Sun-MySQL: The Real Winner is Oracle [View article]
"But of course that is not Sun’s objective. Sun wants to take on Oracle, IBM (IBM), SAP (SAP) and others and make sure the others think of Sun as a competitor all the way up and down the stack. "

I'm curious where SUN has or will compete with SAP. To move to the business applications level, SUN's only option is to partner with both Oracle and SAP. The odds of them finding or building a competitive ERP suite are exactly zero.

  • Elan, Biogen Idec Won't Gain Much from Tysabri Approval [View article]
    Brett,

I'm sure J&J will be very concerned to learn they have lost their valuable Remicade franchise to Schering-Plough's (SGP).

Perhaps a small amount of research prior to writing would not go amiss!
