Valuations Alone Don't End Bear Markets

Thank you for a very well written article. I am of a similar opinion. The bottom lies ahead. My guess is that we will experience a bear market rally over the next few weeks as the stimulus bill passes and the Treasury Dept announces its new plan for the banks.

This is Great Depression II. While the stimulus will have a positive effect in the short run, once it runs out of steam, and losses continue to roll in not only from the banks and Wall Street but from Main Street as well, the markets will drop to new lows.

Gold will outperform equities for the next two years.
