  • Why Buy MLPs? [View article]
I have a ROTH IRA which I put money into, after taxes. So when I retire and get the money out I will not be taxed on that money. If I hold a regular dividend paying stock (e.g. KO) I won't have to pay any taxes on that. So I will be investing in the MLPs in this account the same way. By buying stock of the MLPs. So do I need to pay taxes even if I hold the MLPs in this account?

Is there any way to invest in India's Reliance Industries? Doesn't seem to have any ADR for that one. Would be good to get a piece of Reliance. Any suggestions will help.

  • The Importance of Stock Picking, Illustrated in Oil [View article]
What about drillers like DO and RIG? i like DO. Refiners pay the high price for crude, the reason why a lot of them have lost since mid 2007.

On other note, as I understand it, the author seems to be making a point to follow the market, by following the cash flow. Buy what others are buying and sell when others sell. I think, retail investors will almost always find themselves buying at the peak and selling at the bottom if they follow this rule.

  • Sold HZO Puts, Adding CHCG [View article]
As a vested entity miyself and averaging at around $4, are you still holding your entire position or you have sold off any? If sold, would you mind stating how much? I believe they have stated 2008 will pretty much be a straight line graph.

They have been signing with stores though, you think that will make any significant improvements to their revenues for 2008?
