I 100% agree with you, Russ. And I have seen this viewpoint endorsed by many smart people over a long time period. Are the bugs out in suburban Minneapolis yet?
Excellent article, Ashraf! Every point is valid IMO. I am relieved. As I have said in a previous comment, "transistor manufacturing" is the essence of Intel's growing competitive moat. It is the horse that everything else rides on, with architecture and circuit design being an excellent rider due to the obvious synergy.
The problem with "numbers guys" is that too many of them diminish long-term strategic advantage for short-term goals. Focus on long-term strategy and the numbers will eventually take care of themselves.
I am long Intel, ahead of my annualized total return goal, enjoying the dividend, and smiling. It is presently my third largest stock position.
