Jeff. I hope so too. Freedom of speech is one thing. Blatant lying and slander is something totally different. Let's leave the lawsuits up to Herbalife. In the meantime, we can do our part by reporting these guys. I respect Seeking Alpha. As I said it is a good medium. The only way they know about these frauds is when we tell them just like the only way Herbalife found out about those nasty distributors who were violating Herblaife policy was when they were reported.

Have a great weekend everyone and let's maintain the quality here at SA.

  • It's A Wonderful Herbalife: An Honest Appraisal [View article]

About a year ago, some presumably HLF longs were making wise cracks about Seeking Alpha referring to them as Sucking Alpha regarding some very negative anti HLF articles then inundated with posts which were also very anti HLF.. I commented that Seeking Alpha is a good medium, don't judge them by certain characters who abuse them. Good news is that several of these perpetrators have been banned (hopefully for good) one of them is deadbird. Have you noticed that SA is a lot quieter lately???

As I stated last year, when you see something on there you don't like, communicate! Let them know it. SA has on their home page an email address. When you see one of these anti-HLF articles that are filled with nonsense and no facts, attach that article with links that prove the article is baseless. You can't just say the information is wrong, you have to prove it. That is how we got one of the most prolific authors of gutter garbage on SA removed. Use the truth. It always works.

Also, on SA right under the posts are a series of buttons for various forms of abuse. Use them! AND use them frequently. Let SA know that these posts are inaccurate and abusive and then they will act. Again, several of the anti-HLF people posting garbage on there have been at least temporarily suspended and their posts deleted. IT WORKS. USE IT!

Dead bird wants us to believe that he left on his own. This guy is always acting like he hits a triple when he is stuck on 3rd base. How many times has Ackman struck out with his insane presentations and deadbird claims he hit ahome run? Now deadbird started his own blog with a audience of about 700 people and he wants us to think he voluntarily left SA which has an audience of over 9,000??? Don't think so.

Anyway, things are looking up for HLF guys. News came out the last couple of days that was very negative for Ackman. Also suggest you check my twitter account for updates. Same as my name @ackmanscam on twitter.

    Have a great weekend!

  • Herbalife: Hearsay Evidence Made It Underpriced - It's A Buy Opportunity [View article]
This is too funny. No matter what evidence comes out to prove that Herbalife is legal and Ackman is wrong, the Ackmanaholics still act like they are in a baseball game, stuck on third base and trying to convince everyone that they hit a triple!

I've been tweeting pretty heavy lately. Follow me on twitter: http://bit.ly/19tuIEm

    giorgio,

Maybe it has been squelched because so far all Ackman has seen with his HLF short position is a whopping loss. Of course he got in solely to make a huge profit, but it hasn't worked out that well for him In fact, quite the opposite.

  • An Open Letter To Ms. Julie Hyman: Bloomberg TV Reporter (And Any Others Who Care To Read) [View article]
No one is denying that someone with a college degree has a better chance of getting a job than someone without one. As I stated before, I was a admissions advisor for a major university and encouraged students to enroll in classes to further their education and enhance their opportunity to move ahead. However, as a fmr admissions advisor, I also know the high drop out rates and the low percentage of graduates who find work in their selected fields.

Let me also state that I do not support supposed mlm companies that go on college campuses and recruit students into their programs and stating, "Someday we will be bigger than Herbalife. Get in on the ground floor. You will get rich." Of course the students themselves are at fault for falling for such schemes.

When I hear someone saying that they found a company that will be the next Herbalife and they are getting in as a distirbutor, I always ask them, "How long has that company been around? Who are the leaders? What is their background? Do they have sufficient cash to sustain their business? Do they pay their commissions and bonuses on time? Have you used their products and would you use them even if you were not a distributor? How much money have they allocated to research and development?

Usually the look I get is like "Huh" ??

I do believe that mlm, good mlms, real mlms like Herbalife provide a much better opportunity for the person who is willing to work than getting a college degree and working for someone else.

As mentioned before, Michael Dell, Bill Gates and many more are billionaires and made it without a college degree. Bill Gates has stated that if he had to start all over again, he would get into network marketing.

Nuff said. College degrees are great and will put you into a better position than someone without one who is just looking for a J-O-B. But if you really want financial freedom, a college degree will never get that for you. You only get that by investing and getting into your own business.

    Len,

Matt and some others are attempting to be bullies and trying to bully the media to believe their unproven dogma. And they think that by posting here on SA that will get the job done. Last winter they were trying to bully Jimmy Cramer to make anti-HLF statements on his program. How did that work out?

In my opinion, these guys are just making fools out of themselves and I believe that SA is finally listening and doing something about it. Notice that several of them have dissappeared both from writing articles and posts. I take this as a good sign.

I enjoyed your post and especially the last lines:

"Enough of the anti-Herbalife propaganda, Matt. Let's practice Ocham's Razor. The reason Ms. Hyman, and virtually all state and federal regulators in the US over the last 34 years, and all those in over 90 other countries, don't understand why Herbalife is an illegal pyramid is because they are NOT an illegal pyramid."

    Well stated Len.

Thanks for sharing Len. Blows a hole right through the "you have to get in early to make the money" bull. My guess is that most of those people were't even born when Herbalife launched back in late 1979/early 1980.

    six,

Don't you need a licence to work at Goldman's? Doesn't that cost money, like several hundred dollars. Does Goldman refund that money if you decide to quit within 90 days?

    Bye......
