The good news was the delivery of the ship. Not the contract rate. The rate was negotiated months ago as someone else said. The previous guidance from Genco was that the ship would not be delivered till 2009. The delivery on time was a "surprise" that may have bounced the stock.

GE, even on his conference calls comes across as confrontational, cocky, and unprofessional. I'm suprised that his own greed hasn't taught him to curb that sort of behavior. Message boards have speculated there there has been a manipulation for a long time. I was always very skepitcal of this talk, but maybe it turns out it is true.
