  • Terra Tech: A Natural-Born Capital Killer [View article]
I knew a hit piece was coming. I did not know from where. TRTC has a short of 4 plus million. This short, 4.2 million, reported on Jan 15th, Dec 31st short a few thousand. TRTC price per share on Jan. 2nd was .16, sixteen cents. On Jan 15th, TRTC traded at .31. The short of 4.2 million TRTC averaged .20 cost as a guess. The shorts are stuck. I bought more TRTC at .489. My first TRTC shares purchased @ .115. The drama will ratchet up as TRTC rises. Bashers and sur grape types will get vocal about old, often irrelevant news. Thomas Edison failed 1000 times before the lightbulb. TRTC shareholders will reap huge long term gains in Terra Tech. Derek and team are establishing an Amazonian MegaStore. Urban Agriculture growth,(ex-cannabis),is in the double digits and ramping up at exponential rates. One Reason: Economics. Local food production becomes NECESSARY as cost of energy reduces competitive offerings. Who needs, or wants, canned vegetables? growing is cheaper, infinitely superior in taste, color and NUTRIENTS. If your short TRTC, good luck as it sounds like an awful idea. Invest in TRTC, the tip of a significant spear.

    Wary,
Are you interested in a Cannabis related investment? If so, TRTC being "given a miss" is a bad idea. On the other hand, buying TRTC at $1.55 headed to $2 is not a bad plan.

I have known Derek Peterson since 2006. I was a wholesaler with a large insurance/investment company. Derek managed a large, productive branch of investment advisors. I called Derek to schedule meetings, discuss financial risk management(I sold a VA's), or regarding his large producing advisors. Derek successfully grew his personal and team revenues with Crowell Weedon, Wachovia and Morgan Stanley. Derek was "fired" in the brokerage industry, LMAO. All financial firms automatically fire advisors if they move to a competitor, or leave the industry. I do not know of any specific facts, nor does this author, regarding Derek's severing business with Morgan. It does not matter. Derek saw the market opportunities, weighed the risk of leaving a lucrative career, and went for it. Derek is smart, perceptive and HONEST. In 2007, Derek mentioned he was "going in a new direction" in business. My large insurance company received sales and production numbers from the brokers, Derek and his team managed over half a billion AUM. I can vouch for Derek's passion, knowledge, successful past, integrity and visionary ideas. Take a look at TRTC here. watch this video and tell me about your scam, LOL. : http://bit.ly/1eAtERS

Good luck on your short. Thank you for the misleading disinformation Emp. $TRTC, short more "Pauper Imperator Shirtless".

The markets look forward, not backward. Prices reflect the 6-8 month health of a Blue Chip, say IBM. All data known. 12-18 month's in ONCE in a lifetime industries that appear from the ashes. Learn to read a chart. Peace Out.

  • Marijuana Stocks And Legalization - The Complex Relationship [View article]
Thank you for the thoughtful answer. What about President Obama leaving to the states to legislate? He plays a long game regarding his legacy as the first African American US President. My best guess: Use the sequester to re-allocate MMJ to low/no priority. They are fighting for their jobs. Eric Holder will use this as leverage, silence on state legislation. My gut says the Hawks calling for stricter legal action are getting the cold shoulder from Holder's office. History is not kind to President Obama's lieutenants. This longer time frame of indiferent inaction and silence equals states putting their laws into action. Time is money. Washington and Colorado need time. Time is on the side of negotiating Federal employee's. time is on the side of legal Cannabis.

Excellent article. My understanding is the President could sign an executive order re-scheduling Cannabis today. Am I wrong?

Well researched and comprehensive research. The MJNA pizza slices are worth much more than the whole pie. Can Chew, Phytosphere, and Dixie Botanical as example. The CEO has stated make me an offer. Be careful what you ask for Mr. Kebler, please be patient. If you build it, they will come, smart expansion, cap ex investment, superior service and marketing . MJNA is IBM, circa 1960, building. The Cannabank deal is an example of the obstructive input into the capital markets from the Federal Govt. and an example of a brilliant workaround. Good work Perry.
