  • An Introduction To Investing In Arabian Gulf Stock Markets [View article]
    I think the "Arabian Stock Markets" would have relayed the message! In any event, investing in those markets would be repeating the same disaster happened to the investors in Egypt in 2009. I would put better odds at the Las Vegas crap table then investing in any of those countries--just my opinion. All the best, Bzl14

    I looked up "Arabian Gulf" and couldn't find it anywhere. If you mean the Persian Gulf, which has been the name for thousands of years, then say so. Please don't mix politics with investment discussions. Thanks

    David,

    Thank You for great articles. Long time follower and beneficiary of your research. Question: why would you choose IYE over XLE? XLE seems to have better returns, way better volume and much less fee. I own XLE and and have been selling calls on it for a while. It is certainly much more liquid than IYE--which makes a lot easier to trade...thanks again for sharing your research with us. All the best, bzl14

  • Rosetta Resources: Eagle Ford Play Is Gaining Momentum [View article]
    Bret;
    A long time grateful follower of your articles. Thank for sharing your research with all of us. Since your article was published, this stock has gained ~ 17%. It seems like its fundamentals are decent. B of A has it on their "endeavor" list and has a Buy rating with a 12 month target of $65. Also F.A.S.Tgraphic is showing it undervalued. Do you think this stock is still a Buy or a bit too late. Thanks in advance for your response. bzl14

  • One Easy Change To Squeeze The Most Out Of Your Net Net Stock Portfolio [View article]
    Not to be picky, SA authors are not working for "free." They get paid based on the number of their readership. Further, once people realize that their articles are credible and pan out, their followers increase to, sometime, tens of thousands. And they move on to more lucrative challenges, i.e.managing hedge funds...Therefore, SA gives people an opportunity to establish themselves. And, IMO, it is hard to establish credibility when you are reciting the results of a research which was done 30+ years ago without, at least, trying to show how it has worked during the past 10-30 years. The reason Graham's formula is cited so often is that it still works! So, I still believe that the author needs to update the study and show that it still works. Otherwise, I consider it a self promotion in a poor way. All the best, bzl14

  • One Easy Change To Squeeze The Most Out Of Your Net Net Stock Portfolio [View article]
    Thank you for the article. However, IMO relying on a 32 year old study is a bit dangerous. One wonders why the study has not been updated? This is especially true when such study can be carried out in this age of computer with ease. I also have to admit that author's link to his web page where you are encouraged to sign up for the last fifty remaining slot of newsletter is a total turn off--for me anyway. IMO the strategy would make sense once it is updated and personal promotion is removed from it. All the best, bzl14
