  • Why I Still Own Nvidia  [View article]
Is NV's GPU really better than GPU IP vendros like Imagination? The key success to NV is still the performance to GPU IP in the processor, but NV's GPU in Tegra seems not good enough currently.

It's interesting about the process for A7 chip. Why does APPLE keep secret about the foundry and process for A7, does that have business value?

Do not agree with you! AMD just can keep its business with the optimistic estimate. AMD's GPU is good but it has no advantage with NVIDIA, especially AMD loses the mobile graphics.

  • The True Objective Of The iPhone 5C  [View article]
I think Apple is reasonable to release IPhone 5C to make sure it will not hurt the current product portfolio. So IPhone 5C will be popular just on contract, which will partly increase Apple's sales, but not change Apple's market position.

  • Haswell Redefines PC Future (And Saves Intel)  [View article]
One point I agree with you, the result depends on the leverage performance between other mobile processors and Intel's Haswell. The market's trend is like that the mobile processors will go into tablet and PCs like, and Intel's processors want to go into tablet and pad, which will merge and conflict at some place. So still need to watch their development.

  • Intel's Future Lies In Infineon Wireless' Hands  [View article]
Modem is truly the key for the smartphone. But there are so many other mobile devices which does not need so high performance for LTE modem. Intel's problem is that it enters the market so late, and how to keep its products to compete with other companies in proper price, for it can't use its monopoly just like CPU. Intel can'y keep itself the follower in the mobile industry, it should choose other path to become the leader.
