Open Letter to Boone Pickens

Y'all got to understand is that Mr T-Bone Slim Pickens is a fraud, a Bernie Madoff of energy and he's been clowning around with OPM for over forty years. Why y'all believe this charlatan is beyond me; but better, why don't y'all ask the good folks who lost their hard earned cashola in the lastest Boone Pickens Private Placement, just look it up and find out yourself. The other rhetorical absurdity is the term: "Energy independence." What a rediculous mantra to be shouting from your mountain top. Since the 1950's every president from Eisenhower tothe incumbent Mr Obama calls for this so-called independence. Y'all interpret energy independence as being free of oil and substituting something else in its stead, if I might assume. On the other hand, if you truly believe in the the actual fact of peak oil, then y'all should be shouting for increased drilling all over the world including the North and South pole and deep water in between because by the time that the Saudi oil fields dry up gas and alternative energies cannot replace the daily amounts consumed. And it will be greater in 50 years when the world's population will have doubled. T-Bone is a friendly guy, I've met him and had a nice talk some twenty years ago when we were putting together land deals. But he ain't no savior. In fact he is still motivated to sell you a wildcat rig on that plot of scrub land in your backyard. that's why he is called T-Bone Slim Pickens.
