Damn China! All of their materials and products are by far inferior to ours. Manufacturers have got to stop supporting Chinese suppliers! We need superior products.

AAPL should be at least $100 today. Someone is playing Russian Roulette with the trades. I love Apple. I love what Tim Cook is doing. I love the new progressive, revolutionary and furtively moving changes he directs! Kudos to you Mr. Cook! God Bless Apple, Inc.

I have been wondering the same thing. It seems the $450 million dollar settlement of the e-book matter or the partnering with IBM is being overlooked by the short-sighted investors or hedge fund operators and others who invested big in Apple decided to take their profits or to short the stock for their own "bets" and don't care about the company nor fellow investors. Someone or a group is manipulating the stock down. It should have reached at least $100 today. There is no good excuse except short-term profiteering and short-sightedness.

"Apple has always believed in the simple, not the complex." Sen. John McCain isn't satisfied with Apple's defenses, claiming the company "has violated the spirit of the law if not the letter of the law." Sen. Rand Paul has strongly defended Apple. Competitors and lowbrows are jealous seeing Apple shining in it's greatness! I agree the politicians are on a witch hunt, trying to bring down their financial backers' competition and McCain has his bucks from Intel of AZ.

Taxation of job-creating corporations and their shareholders must result in reward and encouragement to expand in the USA, where industry that elevates us and advances the quality of our lives benefits our culture. We need to have more of Apple and Tim Cook and we need to reduce corporate and shareholder taxation. The Gov't should move to need to take back the tax breaks to billionaires hiding assets in Bermuda, and elsewhere and who are putting crooked politicians and legislators in power, e.g., who is funding McCain? I believe it. is time we absolutely must takeaway tax exemption to a. religious organizations. It is unconstitutional to merge Church and State interests.

That is a likely true, and yet a scary scenario. It's important to foster brand loyalty to defeat the knockoff generics market you referred to. It seems it would kill innovation; what would the purpose be to create new products only to have cheap imitations,? Likened to famous clothing designers, whose newly designed clothing is on the Paris runway one day, and imitated the next, in cheap trickle down chain varieties for the masses of common folk. Only the rich can afford the originals. It never really is the same, cheap imitation and the real McCoy.

I agree, a lot of manipulation of the stock is going on. It disheartening. A great and powerful company and its stellar lines is being attacked by envious competitors and hack short sellers and hedge fund jerks. I wish they'd leave my favorite company alone! Let the Apple grow and fertilize the orchard of Apples to come.

I see it rising to $1,000 per share early 2015, and certainly $800 by later in 2014 with new introductions and buyback program with or without Icahn ( who's a genius, although I do not agree with the acquisition of debt, no matter how cheap it may be in comparison to remaining whole and in the black).

Please don't compare Windows (which break easily) to Apples (which get consumed and keep the doctor away). I know Apple and I know Microsoft and Microsoft is certainly no Apple. Apple should not be compared in the same discussion with that loser Microsoft.

The short sell guys, the cretins who wish to see Apple overrun by the inferiors, of the ilk of Motorola, Nokia, and copycat licensing thieves like Samsung and Google's Android, and others, are in for a big surprise. You lose. Apple wins. Apple is the superior product with the tightly and rightly run operation. Apple will come out on top with another game changer. Thieves, copycats, jealous and envious jerks who are on the enemy payrolls, and who have investments with the other companies will always attack the great giant. It is David and Goliath all over again. Goliath is the monopolizing (-- what happened to the Sherman Antitrust Law, which in Google's case is being ignored?) The great smaller and underestimated, younger and smarter David is Apple and we know what happens, don't we? David will kill the mean giant and reign as King of the digital world. God bless Apple! May Apple reign forever and ever and let those who try to tear its reputation asunder find themselves eating the dust of outdated bytes, as Apple acquirers, shareholder and product owners and purchasers grow strong and evolve with the advancements, more yet to come.

P.S. Price for Apple share should be $1,000 minimum. Look at the cash reserves and lack of debt. It's as big as a nation's GNP. It could feed a nation and does feed many nations. It certainly holds more real value than the (illegal) monopoly Google.
