  • Inovio Is Firing On Nearly All Cylinders [View article]
In a world where share prices can go up 500-1000% or down 30-90% in one week, day or hour the share price NEVER speaks for itself.

If share prices spoke for themselves it would mean all Biotech companies were 100% correctly valued at any given point in time meaning no one would ever buy or sell a share as they'd both agree the value to be the same.

When Genexine do a phase 2 with 100+ participants the viral clearance will most likely fall down into the 40-50 range putting them in line with Ino's results.

With a small sample size of just 9 people there is an INCREDIBLY high chance that their 78% viral clearance was just the company getting lucky with there being 2-5 people in the trail responding to their treatment much better than the average person would bringing up the average.

If its not statically significant then you're getting prematurely excited.

Inovio's 143 participants is enough to be statistically significant.

Also, you cannot use another trial's placebo group because the company's specific electroporation device could be inducing a response in itself, or the perception of its use inducing a strong placebo response.

If one company injects you with a tiny needle but another company makes a big song and dance stabbing you with a 100 needles connected to a massive robot arm you're going to expect more of a response.

    No pleasing some people.

He doesn't buy shares and he's not serious about his own company but if he does buy shares he's fiscally irresponsible and has no business sense.

I'm sorry but anyone who's investing in experimental biotech companies who doesn't expect to wait 5 or more years for a drug to get through all of its trials is a dreamer at best and a fool most likely.

There are very few biotechs that get a product from P1 right through to approval in less than 5 years with most taking the best part of a decade.

I can agree the length of time it is going to take for them to progress from P2 to P3 (1 year) is a bit baffling but how much of that sits on the FDA and how much of that sits on INO's management team is an argument in its own right.

And lastly, if INO was such a pump machine why hasn't Dr Kim been selling any of his huge stake in the business at any of the market highs like the 52 week high of 15.80, or shortly after that when it topped 13 twice more?

The whole basis of a pump and dump stock is that the CO board award themselves/buy shares low and then pump the price up to a high where they then sell. Without the sell a stock cannot be a pump machine.

Instead Kim bought millions of $ of shares using his own money at much higher prices than we see today.

SCLP, looking at your comments history EVERY single comment is about INO and how terrible a company they are.

Either you've been sent back from the future to save the world from an electroporation based apocalypse or you have a vested interest in shaking out retail investors.

The market seems to strongly disagree to the points made in this article although I can't really see why.

Ino is hitting 18 month lows based upon.... no changes. Nothing published, no bash pieces, no scandal.

All that's happen in the last few weeks is a few conference attendances where Ino stated "nothing's changed really" and I don't see how that can cause a fall from 8.50-9.00 right the way down to 6.80 and still falling.

Does anyone have any insight that I'm missing to explain this 25% drop on no news?

  • Ugly reversal for Inovio [View news story]
I just want to know when the results are coming out already.

Surely if the results are coming out in June end / early July the results would need to be un-blinded to be analyzed soon. Why the hell are they not setting a date?

  • Ugly reversal for Inovio [View news story]
At best the neglect to mention the major INO news cycle of the day (The Streets article) is incompetence.

    At worst it is intentional.

Either way SA will retract and re-write their publish.

  • Too Many Pending Milestones For Me To Sell Inovio [View article]
Can you drop me a source for where Kim makes the conference remark?

I cannot locate it and am trying to workup a timeframe now that TheStreet has totally screwed what I though was the timeline for entering/exiting.

  • Arena Pharmaceuticals: Strong Sell On Multiple Red Flags [View article]
To be fair ARNA had been trading in this range recently and this article didn't push it much past its 5.95-6.00 support level.

Granted ARNA has moved up a little form its support level up this week up around 20c into the 620s but a fall of 20-25c as a % is just noise in the machine.

I wouldn't give the article too much credit.

Also "BIG NEGATIVE #16 #17 DOUBLE NEGATIVE"

You do realise a double negative is a positive, right?

You've just listed everything Spencer has said and wrote "negative" at the end without any justification.

Do you not remember from school that when you make statements you then have to back up your ideas with facts?

I have no idea why someone would stay tunes to Babs.FM, all bulls*it, all the time.
