    bobbobwhite -

I am organizing with people for April 15th and 9/12 (my birthday). It is up to you. Define your principles and values, live by them, and identify those who know what their principles and values are.

It is an identification process. If living by principles and values becomes illegal, then help us all.

I see that testimony from CEO's now makes the economic calendar. AIG this, AIG that. It is a nice diversion. I guess the fact that the new administration so joyously offer small business in America 15 billion while AIG gets 170 billion (with no end in sight). Am I the only one who sees a serious problem with this?

wow, I see great humor here.

Someone actually has a sense of humor!

XOM's R&D will never buffer a buyout though, and to tell you the truth XOM likes geoscientists in management, not MBA's. XOM does a hell of a lot more than buying a few mortgages for our society (that would be like throwing a doallr in the offering plate for them). So all of you who actually take any of this article seriously, try Paxil, you might actually feel better about yourself.

    Reagan,

There are many more where the following comes from:

    and you can quote me.

I hope pray and prey that iTechnology becomes byeTechnology.

Apple should be embarrassed, but I figure that they will be following their current "plan" to re-invent everything and sell it to the idiots of the world.

Well User, I am not a big fan of Jags, so I really don't care either way, but I would bet that a product produced in India would be far superior and at a much lower cost than in th UK.

My big beef here is the fee for all that warner has going on. So, they want to charge me for music? Hmmm, I get my music the old fashioned way. I go to the store and I buy a CD. Sometimes I even go to Cheapo and buy it used. Would they have a portion of my gas tax because I drove to Cheapo? That's like taking the rivers licenses away in a city beacuse one of it's citizens got a DUI.

    Ridiculous.

Utterly ridiculous. I guess I will just stop buying music and start stealing it.

Leave it to aapl to reinvent the already invented. A good reason to sell.

You mean that light at the end of the tunnel is really FIVE freight trains?

"supercomputing ability to anyone who can afford a PC", well, on a dead cat bounce, that doesn't seem to likely now does it?

Glasgow is probably on the galapogos entertaining a spirtiual transendence.

9% for PFE & GSK, 10.5% for WAG. Nice. Real nice. Next thing we will see is SWY increase proft margin by 15% to cover increased handling costs for increased wholesale food prices.

  • Contrarian Indicator: Analyst Buy Ratings [View article]
    To all you naysayers . . .

If the pundits and analyst had their say about the direction of the economy and the media propaganda, T-rexes would be roaming the earth will-nilly and what humans that were left would be scampering around with limbs bleeding due to fear alone.

Lighten up a bit, and you might make some money. This piece may be a far cry from the more positive recovery spins I would like to see coming out of the pundits and analsyts (has anyone ever noticed the presence of anal in analyst?). All I see is "the sky is falling, you are going to die". I am bored. At least this piece was humorous and gave me a break.

I even bought ETFC at $3.14. Right when everyone was screaming sell. Oh well, I guess I made the wrong decision there. I don't think they sell $3.14 lottery tickets, do they?

    Hmmmm, AAPL in 20 years

A hyper inflated price tag in a weak dollar economy with increasing inflation.

I would guess that AAPL is going to much more worthless than it already is in 20 years.

Do you remember the SONY Walkman? The ones that paid cassettes? Now that was one cool thing when they first came out. I would sooner have one of the old metal cased ones than an iPod, or an iPhone. Probably be worth more in 20 years too.

  • How Are Apple and RIM Moving Up?; Sandisk's Flash of the Future [View article]
    Barta,

You forget that there is a plethora of people who don't like the touch. I hate it. I wrote 8 "I apologize" emails after I gave ipods for Christmas one year. iTunes has to be the worst artery cloggin prohgram right behind Norton. The whole experience is fine for the minds that are attracted to such folly. It just happens to be that folly is all it is. Have you seen the overall Market Share of MicroSoft vs. Apple lately? I'm glad to see that apple has kept their little enclave alive, it gives me great fodder for when I feel like picking on someone.

I do hope AAPL continues to plummet relentlessly. There is nothing I would like more than to see the freaks beocme more freakish. The iPhone is a flop. Poorly hatched Ok idea is all it was. Another passe attempt at avant garde.

Just remember, it is kind of gross to be fondling your electronics in public.

Sorry, but you few asked for it.

Well, Jim seems to have his grundies in a bunch.

I think an approriate thing to say is that I would have something to say about AAPL carousing it's way to depths of bankruptcy because you see, I despise AAPL and there is nothing that would make me happier. I hate the lack of ingenuity, and the over marketing of simpleton ideas, and the eternal wisp of desperation that echoes from their every move. Come on, let's put an ipod on the steering wheel so people have a scroll list to look at while they drive, make sure you have a connect so you can plug in your iPhone too while you scroll through your playlist. That ought to save at least 5-10,000 lives a year from living in this hell where AAPL makes pandering around in the darkness look like child's play.

    You asked for it Jim.

    And you deserve it.

Over priced and way over valued, just like their stock. I should say grossly over valued.
