Emisphere (NASDAQ:EMIS): Improving Drug Delivery

Hey Mike,

nice writeup on EMIS, what do u think of Alexza Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ALXA), they have a drug delievery system for depression and other psychiatrics. Stock has really been under the radar and some pivotal Phase III data coming out over the next 6-12 months.

Any opinion on their prospects? Couple analyst believe this is at least an $8-10 stock, but doesnt seem to be a lot of volume interest in it.

On CC, company stated Jinan will be triple the sales of 2007 chemical numbers of approx 54 million or 162 million in potential sales from Jinan. Your $200MM estimate is a bit high, but Im long the stock as well and think this is a $20 stock 12 months from now at the least.

Chris, what stores have u been hearing "its been dead"?

I live right near the Chicago store and they said business has never been better. You do realize they raised full yr guidance at last conference call and said bookings were up 40% over 2nd quarter of last yr.

Given that short interest is over 70%, shorts have no more bullets left. Only way stock goes down is if longs sell their positions, and why should they given the only way shorts can cover is by buying the stock back.
