Big guys are trying to make room for Alibaba, lots of things are on sale again. Buffett used to say: "Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked." Time like this, you really see which companies are truly bad ones.

  • MannKind In Turmoil: Is It Time To Buy Or Sell? [View article]
Stay away until sales data comes in, otherwise, it's always a guessing game. Companies such as AMRN, NAVB, ARNA, VVUS all launched "blockbuster" drugs that ended up as flops.

After approval, sales data is the only "real" catalyst!

I think the majority has expected this outcome, but it's always interesting to see that somebody apparently knew things before the rest.

It's silly to have concerns over global airline carriers based on what has happened in Ukraine and the mishaps of Malaysia Airlines. Without flying, how people will move across the continents, by boats? Wall Street is full of pu$$ies, as always!

Also, I do believe in the ~$50/share valuation!

  • Q&A: Should I Leave Chicago Bridge & Iron Alone? [View article]
This is what Buffett said in a Businessweek interview in 1999:

“If I was running $1 million today, or $10 million for that matter, I’d be fully invested. Anyone who says that size does not hurt investment performance is selling. The highest rates of return I’ve ever achieved were in the 1950s. I killed the Dow. You ought to see the numbers. But I was investing peanuts then. It’s a huge structural advantage not to have a lot of money. I think I could make you 50% a year on $1 million. No, I know I could. I guarantee that.”

If Buffett is running is smaller fund, he can blow the S&P out of the water, mentioning that Buffett has underperformed the S&P only means that the author doesn't have any idea about "real" investing!

  • Can Snapchat Wipe Out Facebook In The Future? [View article]
I don't like Facebook, but the answer to your question is "No"! Snapchat is a stupid idea that is unusually lucky. The only thing that can replace Facebook in what it does is another social network that rewards you 10 cents for every minute you spend on it!

My two cents: insider buying is always a good sign, but they can equally spend their money on stocks that they think more attractive. E.g. if a guy likes FB, he believes it's going to the moon, he can spend all his money on FB although he knows CBI is undervalued.
