  • Regulators Probe Reuters' Report Of A Samsung Takeover Of BlackBerry [View article]
Folks on SA are very repetitive on their agenda's. May I just point out a few words straight from the head horse's mouth...i.e....Mr John Chen. Mr Chen has a lifetime of straightforward business communications. He is not prone to exaggeration or hype.
He says he gives BBRY a 99% chance of making it. He says he has three Billion. He says that software has a very low cost. He says. no more firings which plainly illustrates he has the team he wants.
Many are betting on that 1%....strange for a President's personal handset.

  • Ford Motor: Thank You, Dear Mr. Market, I'll Gladly Buy More When You Are Scared [View article]
Cramer and the hedgie's are O's boys (or he is theirs). The GM bailout and subsequent theft of common stock are facts of life they wish would go away. The very fact that wise leadership showed that government intervention was not an absolute and the transfer of ownership to union and government is, and was a crummy day for American Law and fair and equal reasonable treatment for private ownership. It is also notable that the debt was forgiven for pennies on the dollar.
In the meantime, Ford slowly repays it's debt and keeps it's retirement plan solvent the old fashion way....honestly.....La... they make better cars and trucks....and watch out for the new Lincoln and the lightweight truck

  • New NHTSA probe covers 500K Ford vehicles [View news story]
Watch for the stock market and the federal government to continue to protect their crafted General Motors at the expense of ford. They must prove that their stockholder/bond/invester theft and union gift was the right thing. They broke every law in the book and they continue their support till this day.
Ford clearly showed that a major car company DID not need to cheat their stockholders and borrow from tax payer's.
It's the Democrats car company now. Unions have the old investor money and all concerned want to forget about what really happened.
Watch for Government interference in Ford's business to help their car company..GM

  • BlackBerry Is Going To $10.50, Z3 Is Launching In More Countries [View article]
They say never become obsessed with one stock. I did it before. It was ISRG. BBRY is now the replacement. First of all, both are high tech....very high tech. Don't have space or time to tell about ISRG except if you ever need serious surgery deep inside you to the ISRG robot Doctor. It can save your life....and money, infection, pain etc.
BBRY is serious secure communication. Remember, the world is a very serious place. Very, very serious. Information is money. Despite the chattering and sharing and posturing there lives people of greatness and infamy.
The party line is much cheaper than your own individual private line. Remember the wartime warning "loose lips sink ships".....they do "in fact" We did it with advance information (we broke the german's code)
I have heard that certain defense companies will not allow certain popular software because it can be read by their eyes in the sky. I also know that all secret service folks use BBRY only
Which technology do you want to bet on? This is a "castle" stock

  • BlackBerry Can Be Bought [View article]
I have always thought this was a turf war between quasi tech/political arguments on security and privacy. If a despot had google and facebook information it could do devastation like never seen before in human history.
I have seen the public arrogance of their top management and you can be sure that they know the value of personal information. That discussion is going to grow with Europe and Eastern countries who know what evil can happen without restraint of power.
That said, the goog, FB, and their friends thought through disinformation, price wars and market coordination could crush our poorly run company. Can't happen now. They have a problem, if they make a offer on the cheap, no fly, and clearly sets a base for true value.
I think that it would take a purchase price of more than twice of cap cost today.
Expect some takeover protections very soon and thank God it is a Canadian Company.
I absolutely guarantee they are not happy with Mr John Chen,....a really cool guy

  • Earnings Preview: BlackBerry Q1 2015 [View article]
For the Blackberry hater's, follow the money. More importantly, follow the undeclared "war" on privacy and personal private information.
The big guys, and they indeed very big, continue to encourage all that data collection is just advertising and not important.
Blackberry is the protector of the kingdom, keeper of secrets (spoken through their equipment and now their software)
There has been much disinformation about "the phone of the presidents" and the secret service. Methinks the secret service are serious, very smart people
And for those that do not know, there is a famous room in the white house that is protected against any listening device and is hack proof. Completely private.
Do you want to trust a company that snoops with car mounted camera's, listening and recording devices, keeps every single email or search, and now has real time spy in the sky ability? Lets not mention their mega storage or their friends who track young peoples movements and ALL of their friends.
That may be too much information for a blackberry investor, but it is what it is

  • Southwestern Energy Q1 profit rises 52% but shares fluctuate [View news story]
when wall street has so much paper money (and can get all they want), it is very easy to run a stock down. Jim Cramer himself boasted of the ability to drive stock prices down so a trading profit could be made. Boasted on TV, he did.
Fast forward, without serious government oversight and penalty (civil and criminal) it is possible to control the price of entire sectors (example; physical gold vs paper gold contracts)(lots of contracts and virtually zero "gold" you can see in vault and count.[look at gold export data]
It is also easy to issue more stock with permission of the company issuing the stock. It is called naked shorting. Pretty easy to flood market with cheap shares.
SWN is just another injured body on the side of road leaving so called wall street
