  • Tesla - The Next Government Financed Alternative Energy Debacle [View article]
Brett, one of things I like about the US is the vision of some of our leaders. Both private and Government. It is a fact that in the very near future, this world will run on alternative energy. What I see is the US government taking the iniative to get Americans start thinking in that direction and doing something about it. Even if it fails.

Because Brett, just as we are now owned by China, if we don't do something, we will depend on China for our energy. If the China Syndrome dosen't scare, then what does. This article reads like it was written by Sarah Palin. China, through its goverment is looking to dominate the world solar energy industry. And the China gov had a hand in the downfall of Solydra. We could not make panel to compete with those made in China.

We have a string tied to one of our balls by China, and a string tied to the other by the Middle East. And you are whinning about the Government trying to jump start the industry of the future.

Our schools an educational system sucks. So I don't see us competing with the educated workforce of other countries in the future. Brett, the word being whispered around the world is "decline".

  • If Stimulus Works, How Come We Need More Of It? [View article]
I have asked my GOP friends, why did vote for W twice. Because after his supreme leadership, he took a great economy and dump it in the out house. Obama has spent his entire presidency cleaning off the crap left by the supreme idiot. I never thought a stimulus would do much, but this President has done a fantastic job. We are not out of the hospital, but we doing better than I thought. Bill Clinton left me with a great portfolio and W wiped me out. But this President has brought me back, so he has my vote.

  • A touch-only successor to the BlackBerry Z10 (BBRY +13.9%) will launch in 2H, and Sprint (S) will carry it, AllThingsD's Ina Fried reports. Sprint is expected to begin selling the QWERTY-sporting Q10 around mid-year. [View news story]
I believe (T) & (S) are feeling a shift in the wind. Ever since the market pickup BB chatter, Apple began to dive, and slowly BB stock began to come out of its coma. One can only live on their reputation for so long .
