      I cant help but share this short and to the point quote I saw on a stock investers board a few minutes ago.
      I thought it was priceless!
      Could not be more true!

      eBay's Latest Screw-Up



      The new best match is going to kill the sellers plain and simple.
      In My catagory I sell custom made clothing.
      Very expensive pieces that are listed using the exact same words for search to cover all possible ways a buyer would search. I have always used the exact same wording which gave me more lookers.If I have 30 items listed using the exact same words in search my sales are over with.
      Because all 30 pieces would be very differant originals, but search will only show one!
      So sales will tank to 300.00 for one item instead of selling maybe 25 items or more. My sales were mostly 95% sell thru always untill best match started. Now there are very few hits on them .
      Ebay is badly broken!

      As for Scot!
      Scot must be a pumper!
      Wake up Scot if ebay lost all auction sales ebay would die a very fast death.
      Pay Pal is not a bank and not FDIC approved.
      Pay Pal will only carry ebay on its back just so far.
      eBay's stock repurchase programe has suffered a loss in excess of 7 Billion dollars, about 4 times the size of the skype write off. Investers are taking stock of those write offs and it looks like they prefer stock dividends to stock repurchases....on ebays part.
      The investers have taken note of what is happening and say ebay has no clear direction at this point.
      The stock is presently on a dead cat bounce the last couple of days before it slides back on down again.

      New Selling Form Sinks eBay Sellers
      If Donahoe keeps adding to the woes of the sellers,
      he is not going to have any left on the sight! Ebay
      Live was a testament to how bad things have gotten
      this year. The World Wide seller boycotts and the
      sellers that have just up and closed up shop there
      are effecting the listing counts. Even ebays new pet
      Buy.com cant pad up the listing counts along with
      ebays tests auctions combined.
      Stocks have dropped like a lead ball and are not
      recovering. When the Quarterly report comes out
      I think the stock holders are going to see what is
      happening. Ebay has been dropped from the top
      stocks list and Meg Whitman has was selling off
      huge blocks of her stock just before the May
      date when new changes took effect. Can we
      say SEC needs to look into things?
      Ebay is buying up stock fast. Is that to prevent
      a take over or?????????
      AS for a new listing form ( E.....gads), we just got over the night mares from the last SYI3 form they released with tons of bad code and half of it didnt work right for months and months! Here we go again.......
      Not for me, Im out of there for good!

      Stifel Upgrades eBay to Buy
      Scott Devitt must of lost his mind! The product ebay offers is its Sellers! The Sellers are leaving in huge numbers ,there by deminishing the buyers choices. Thats if the buyer can find anything with ebays new Best Match(Worst Sort on the net) .
      JD has scrambled just about everything on ebay in an attempt to make it into the new Amazon. What JD fails to understand is that Ebay was built on the Auction business
      and if he turns it into just another online Market place like Amazon it will lose its uniqueness. The fact that anyone could find anything on ebay will be lost!
      JD has shackled the sellers to the point where they are just leaving for other Auction houses. Look at the numbers of the others. They have grown by leaps and bounds since all the new changes have taken effect.
      And God forbid he has more changes coming this year.
      There is a protest planned for the Ebay live and the Stock Holders meeting this month.
      Mr DEvitt needs to take those rose colored glasses off?

      How Donahoe Broke eBay
      Meg hired Donahoe and turned him loose on the place.Fruity is right in it being Meg and Bills doing also. It was a sad day for ebays future when that happened.
      They hire people to code that need to go back to High School and start all over. The script on the ebay site is kindergardenish and so badly done that they cant get half of it fixed.
      The latest round of new findings (search) (SYI3) (feedback) (pay Pal 21 day holds on funds) And (WORST MATCH) are the straws that broke the sellers backs. Greed is what drives it all. And the Empire is going to fall from it.

      You hit the nail on the head. Its sad what is heppening to ebay. It once was a great place to sell anything and buy on.
      Those days are long gone and its becoming impossible to believe anything ebay says anymore.
