The Long Case for China North East Petroleum

i've been invested in this stock for months and i think this is a great china growth stock. but i wanted to ask about the price movement after the huge run to $4.55. doesnt it seem strange that every time we have a run up on good news the stock is brought right back down sharply? is this normal and what do you think it is?? mostly profit taking or are we being manipulated in some way? thanks...
