Why stop with Payday loans? Why not regulate how many packets of cigarettes we may smoke per month, how many whoppers we may eat per week, how many children we may have, how many times we may marry and divorce, how many miles we may drive, and the list goes on. The notion is that if some action may be potentially bad for us, we’d better ask our fat cat legislators to protect us from ourselves. How did that bill ever get as far as the governor’s desk?
The House in SC should be thoroughly fumigated. No self-respecting citizen should tolerate a legislator placing limits on their freedom of choice.
