  • Chesapeake Energy: Not The Same Old Story [View article]
The price in the european union in January was 9.25 if we start exporting won't that have an effect on our prices here? Even if it doesn't affect US prices it should help the bottom line by selling into that market. I also look to hydrogen made from natural gas for fuel as a very big market for natural gas.

  • New research links surge in Oklahoma earthquakes to drilling activity [View news story]
I know a gentleman that works on the largest Buffalo in Texas. He told me that when he started there there were no earth quakes. The ranch is so big that they have drilled several oil wells in the past eight years, and the more they drill the more earth quakes they have. What is they say the proof is in the pudding. So who is kidding who.

This is all a bunch of bull. If they used GasFrac a company that uses liquid natural gas for fracking and no water. Then there is no waste water to get rid of end of story. What does everyone have their head in the sand? You are right where the hell is the government on this; as always doing what they are told.
Yes I do own GasFrac stock why because years ago I had read how bad water was in fracking. The same is true for Nuclear power there is not a better answer for global warming, but because of old crap that should have been replaced years ago everyone is afraid of the future. If you want to know whats is best check out Terra Power by Bill Gates and get on the band wagon. We are the only ones that can make things happen.

  • Chesapeake Energy: Should You Buy The Peak? [View article]
Another speculation is the country of Mexico is going to start letting American company's into Mexico. They said in the conference call that they would be open to doing business in other country's. I know it's a stretch to think that, but who would be a better match? You never know when something like that could be announced so I will hold my ground on this one thank you.

  • Report: McClendon trying to force Chesapeake to drill wells it doesn't want [View news story]
You are right on about Aubrey, I think we would be better off if they would listen, and maybe make some changes to accommodate his wishes. Its his money to.

  • Is Chesapeake Still A Turnaround Story? [View article]
I count 721 stations nationally but you don't need as many stations with home fueling. California has 167, Oklahoma has 79, New York 44. It sure wouldn't hurt to have the government give grants to have higher pressure lines along the interstate system.

  • Clean Energy Fuels teams with GE to boost natural gas-fueled trucks [View news story]
The government is up to their eyeballs in Energy. They always have been or is it the other way around? If you think suppliers will go against government policy you have another think coming. Big money controls it all and if they have the best interest of the country at heart I'll eat my hat. I am more interested in what best for the country. As long as we have markets people will make money ether way it goes not just the ones that control things.

What are you a coal miner. There are no good jobs in the coal mines. Shut them all and give the miners a full pension. Thats what they did in Scotland years ago. Natural Gas as a fuel to generate the electricity for electric cars. Nuclear power for electricity to heat our homes.

  • Chesapeake Energy: More Oil, Fewer Assets And Short Term Outlook [View article]
I believe natural gas station development, natural gas station equipment supplier is one of the smartest thing they were doing. Its what the consumer need and who else will do it if the natural gas producers don't. By stopping it only helps the oil side of the market. Good for oil bad for Global Warming. Where is the leadership? Money can be made on both sides of these markets. What better way to improve the price of Natural Gas.

  • Four execs leaving Chesapeake Energy [View news story]
I am a progressive when it comes to government. I am also an investor and want to have the companies I invest in to have the pure profit motive. I want the government to make companies run by a set of fair rules. Yes I believe the board of director have way to much power over the stockholders. From what I read in your comment I think that is what you are talking about.

This might be a dumb question but can BAC sue the government for forcing them into such a bad deal. At least pick up the liability for what happened before BAC took over.

  • Pres. Obama's climate plan was mostly upbeat for natural gas (GAZ, UNG), and shares of gas companies such as Chesapeake (CHK) and Cabot (COG) rose. But included in the fine print is an "interagency methane strategy" that could prompt new regulations after closer looks at the scope of leaks from gas wells, pipelines and plants. Methane, a key gas component, is 25x as potent a greenhouse gas as carbon dioxide. [View news story]
With the other side being controlled by big oil and Obama's wind and solar It seams there is no hope to solve global warming. I was convinced years ago that Nuclear power for electricity and Natural Gas for transportation was the answer. Now with Umpqua Energy new invention that should reduces HC, CO, PM and NOx. by 85% or more. It will work on power plants also but you can't use Natural Gas for everything. Believe me I have talked to people in government about this till I am blue in the face. The only thing our government seams to be interested in is money in there pocket. Its a sad day for us becuse we are going no where.

Cows produce Methane true. Put the waste it in oil storage tanks with a little grass and pipe it into the system. We don't need oil tanks if we use Natural Gas for fuel and produce electricity with Nuclear the cleanest ans safest.
