  • Something You Never Hear About Tesla [View article]
Elon Musk simply despise when something is not right. It is unfair for consumers that there is no free market. Elon Musk have made lots of enemies whose pockets are getting smaller. He has never been shy to openly fighting with these people.
Your argument about Elon Musk as an example of crony capitalism is just ridiculous. Tesla is not GM, or Fisker.
I have no comment regarding Q1 performance as no one knows for sure how they are performing in Europe.

Or GM has waited until the government had sold their shares. It is just unbelievable what GM has done or hasn't done.

  • Can New Jersey Harsh Tesla's Mellow? [View article]
Are you saying Tesla's delivery number grew from 300 to 500 in a month? It is a great sign. They still need to rump up their production faster to meet global demands. They haven't even started the delivery to where I live.

  • Is The Tesla Electric Car On A Road Called 'Overvalued'? [View article]
Hummer was a unnecessarily big thirsty car whereas Tesla is super efficient practical car. It can be more black and white. Yes, they are both expensive, but that is the only thing they have in common.
EV1 was discontinued because GM wanted to keep making ICE cars that were more profitable for them. This dilemma still exists for conventional car companies. Existing ICE business hold back them to move on and invest money to develop electric cars. In the meantime, Tesla will make continuous progress and dominate electric car industry, and possibly disrupt utility industry along the way.

  • 3 Billion Reasons Why Tesla's Gigafactory Will Be A Bloodbath [View article]
I'm very happy investor precisely because I dismissed JP's past articles. I don't really understand how could anyone have a better understanding of battery technology than Elon Musk. At very minimum, he is more informed and have a group of smart dedicated people working on the project. On top of it, He is a rocket scientist. Of course, share price will fluctuate in short term. In the long run, it is limitless. I just don't want miss this great opportunity and be part of the revolution. Hate driving ICE cars and need to pay for petrol every week.

  • Buzz building over Tesla gigafactory [View news story]
I would say if there is any drastic change in the battery manufacturing that is Tesla's gigafactory. If they can reduce cost of batteries by 30 to 40% as Musk said, it is "drastic change". Tesla is about to become the one of the biggest manufactures for batteries as well as electric cars. Yes, there huge risk. That's why no one else do it and Tesla has to do it by itself. Well technically with partners. I think it is the risk worth taking. Besides, it's Elon Musk. He knows EVERYTHING.

  • Story Time With Tesla Motors [View article]
I agree. As much as Steve Jobs was a genius marketer and a visionary leader, Elon Musk is a self-taught rocket scientist, computer genius, product designer, great leader etc. Elon Musk is insanely brilliant and single-handedly leading us to the better future.

  • Tesla Guidance, Analyzing Model S Demand And Customer Deposits [View article]
Thanks for a great artcle as always. I have one question I hope you can answer for me. Why did they decrease delivery estimate to 35k? Wasn't it supposed to be over 40k? I'm slightly confused because many articles mentioned 40k for 2014 estimate before.

  • Apple's Sell-Off Is An Opportunity... To Sell [View article]
    Wow, many negative comments..
You pretty much summarised what I feel about Apple.
Apple is living on Jobs' legacy. No substantial innovation since he left the company. There were many failed attempts like Siri and map. Apple's technical and innovative advantage Jobs have build is almost gone and the firm desperately needs something to differentiate it from other electronic manufactures. The problem is that it doesn't seem like Cook is capable of doing that.
I have been a huge Apple fun since I bought first Mac, iBook G4 and still think Mac is the best computer. However, I have been very disappointed with recent new iPhones and I don't see how Apple can regain share in smartphone market in the future. This is troubling since iPhone business is/was most profitable for Apple.

  • Tesla: When The Concept Becomes Mainstream [View article]
You are saying it is great for Tesla that demand is so high they can achieve high margin, right?

Model S is absolutely reasonably priced for what it can do.
Many people outside US are willing to pay even more to got it quicker.

No point comparing Maserati to Tesla. They have nothing in common except amount of the revenue... They can't be more white and black.
