  • Conspiracy Theory... BlackBerry? [View article]
It's great to see that there is still someone out there that can be open minded and honest in their review for the Blackberry Z10. The bashing all weekend from the media has been totally unfair, lopsided and relentless!
You point out so many truths in your article about how other companies have had their problems and they are completely overlooked whereas Blackberry gets vilified for every little thing.
I strongly believe that owners of the 35-40% short interest in the stock cannot give an objective opinion and I also believe that these are also the same people where the majority of negative reviews are coming from.
    I am long BBRY.

  • More on Citigroup (C) Q4 earnings: New CEO Tom Corbat "kitchen sinks" the quarter to clear out the decks for his tenure as Citi becomes the only major bank to report a big miss on the bottom line. "(Earnings) reflect an environment that remains challenging, with businesses working through issues like spread compression and regulatory changes as well as the costs of putting legacy issues behind us." It's been awhile since a bank chief sounded so dour. Shares -4.5% premarket. (PR[View news story]
Tom Corbat is aggressively cleaning up the books so that 2013 earnings will be much better and will reflect on his management skills.

This aquisition makes a lot of sense. It will add to their bottom line as early as next quarter.

That may be true but would you offer someone $2.00 for a rotten piece of fruit when it could be had for a deep discount? There are much better assets available for the money that is being offered.

Earnings for 2012 will be between 1.20-1.30 as management stated at their 3 QTR presentation. This does not correlate to the ,74 you've projected on your chart above. I can only conclude that all your projections are wrong!

The phone records of Gray Wolf, Douglas House and GMI Ratings should be made public. If they refuse to do so then their disclosure practices must come into question.

Who in the world would dedicate so much time and effort to defame a company unless they had an ulterior motive? You can't tell me that Gray Wolf, House and now GMI Ratings are doing all of this research to save all of us who are long the stock and don't know any better.
Don't they realize that it is them who "Doth protest too much"? Gray Wolf must be up to their neck in margin calls and on the verge of liquidation for them to garner so much help from other sources in trying to knock the stock price down.
