    Contract law is what makes the United States unique. Toss out contract law and we become like Russia where politics control the economy and whatever the political party in power decides is what dictates current law. This case is probably the most important case ever decided by the Supreme Court. If you can't rely on a contract what can you rely on.

    GM sells Hummer to Chinese...lol None of the GM companies out of the United States are included in the bankruptcy. If that is true what is the name of the company holding all the overseas stuff? Is it the 75c GM. Is GM using the money we are giving them to shore up the overseas stuff not included in the bankruptcy? Nixon and Watergate and Bill Clinton and his problems were nothing compared to this gang currently in control of our government.
    Chrylser and parts of GM being forced to be sold to Fiat...what a joke...time to see who is benefiting within Fiat.
    The American people are so politically blinded they can't even feel the pickpocket robbing them blind.

    The total outstanding shares of a company should be the total that can ever be traded. Naked shorts allow more shares than the company has outstanding to be traded and this should never be. If Obama corrects anything I hope it is this.
    I am not usually political but if I remember right all the problems we are facing now have come to light during the past 2 years since we put the Democrats in charge of the congress. The dems promised they would take care of the high price of gas 2 years ago and we put them in. Well we all know what has happened since we put in the democrat congress.

    Ditto Eddie64, you hit the nail on the head. I just wish I would have been smart enough to go to cash when the market was at 14000...lol
    But doesn't everyone.
    The collapse of all these financials is creating major buying opportunities like we haven't seen in years. They are having to liquidate equities with no market price buyers.
