Streamer- is firstly a word? You may be a good spellchecker but did you actually read the context of the article? He didn't say it was going to drive eBay out of business or even "displace" it, just that it has a real shot at being a legit competitor.

Ebay was once a great company, but they've been without any vision or new ideas for 5 years. Amazon and Yahoo the same. These are all Web 1.0 companies living in a 2.0 world. This new company sounds like its routed in a 2.0 mindset.
