      i worked for radio shack from 1996-2001. during that time frame sprint pcs came online. the service was horrendous since most of their system had yet to be built and they relied heavily on analog. i made a prediction at that time that sprint would be the best and i still think that.       why is it that there are companies that when they say a company is doing well or poor investors listen like it came from the Bible. Shouldn't investors take this information with a grain of salt and do their own research. a companies fate now lies in the hands of a few individuals. how many troubled companies have there been that have gotten the good word and many people have lost their savings.       i worked for radio shack for 5 years and there are 2 major things tey have done wrong. they used to have a large electronic parts business with an entire department just for parts. they cut that way back. the margin on those parts is huge. they also sold many electronic products branded radio shack with a decent margin. in their infinite wisdom they now sell brand names with a narrow margin. i still have 36 shares of rs. my misfortune is that they cost me between $50-$60 a share.       three cheers for burger king they are coming out with new burger products. i would like to see them come out with a cheddar whopper and a swiss cheese whopper. i suggested using those cheeses to big mac but they told me they dont accept customer suggestions but they would save it electronically. maybe bk will try them. i hope so.
