A January report from The Verge claimed the phone will have an aluminum body and be sold by AT&T. Didn't their China Mobile deal fail? I see you state a 'future deal' so they will try again but will they be willing to NOT be the boss of someone? They succeed in America b/c AAPL runs the show, makes the rules and their 'partners' have to follow. If they (the partners) choose not to bend to AAPL's will (China Mobile) they will not get the latest and greatest apple product. China Mobile didn't care.
Could they not buy Dell and still provide software to other OEM's at the current price and just make more money from Dell purchases? Maybe, give users a little something extra with the software if they buy Dell vice other OEM's. Just thoughts, no critical thinking was involved.
