Google's Phone Doesn't Change Things Much (Yet)

Goog will store all users' personal data on their data base so good luck to all goog phone users.

And one day goog may sell the information back to the users.

Verizon Rumored to Get iPhone in Q3 2010

VZ PR department is pushing rumours out like there is no tomorrow, probably the froid, er, droid isn't doing well and the terrible fear of more subscribers going over to ATT for the iPhone.

Does Verizon Really Need the iPhone?

The question to ask is do Apple need VZ?

The churn rate is low because of the contracts the subscribers had signed with VZ and they also inherited 13 millions customers from Alltel (without which ATT would have the most subscribers).

VZ cripple phones to save bandwidth and most of their users don't surf the net because of the crappy user experience. Wit the iPhone VZ may also experience the same problem as ATT because of the consumption of bandwidth.

And why should Apple make a CDMA phone when there is no future in its future?

By the way selling in other markets more than make up for the loss of sale without VZ.

It may be a bad move. In this challenging economic times one want to conserve their cash to get what one believe to be the best. This is not the time to foolish sign up for anything free. But if he or she is hankering for a Blackberry by all means. But for those who are not in a hurry there will be many more good deals coming along.

Apple users are not sheep, they know what works and work doesn't, they can differential great user experience with crappy experience. They love their computers and after years of usage they still fetch great values in ebay.
