I understand your perceptions of "a painful stock to own", but certainly it is not as painful to own as it was in the period from August 2008 to February 2009. That was the most gut wrenching period of all! Things are about to really turn for SiriusXM in a positive way. Just keep the faith a bit longer and the rewards are sure to follow! This is the stock story of the year. Monday would be a good time to bet the farm on this company at below .60, and it is not going to stay there very long. Buy! Buy! Buy!

Just as many have expected, a RISE in subscriptions going into the 3Q. Cash for Clunkers did have a positive impact on the numbers. It is good to see the analysis hit the press this morning by Brandon! Excellent job of exposing the reality that we shareholders have been feeling was true; until today there was no data to support the idea that Sirius is going to show positive growth this quarter.

Never a dull moment on this one. Looks like Mel is proceeding in the right direction. I had suspected the reverse split was for the SEC levels just in case. I also understood the additional share to be the "cushion" necessary for backup. I would guess that the SEC will continue its suspension of the 1.00 beyond the deadline already in play as Sirius will not be the only one in the debt boat needing this kind of consideration. Overall, it was a positive call and things will be much better when the debt gets refinanced "in short order". As for voting on the proxy, I think it is already a done deal as there are not enough individual shareholders to stop it. Nevertheless, it is what is necessary moving forward. As long as there is no bankruptcy, everything will fall into place. The auto makers will get help and they will produce economical models. This will be part of the governments aid package/ownership play. Time is the greatest commodity, and Sirius will get the time it needs to make the merger work.

Ricker,
I appreciate your simple analysis with which I agree. It is going to get better in time. Those who have time are going to be OK. Those that do not will get out at a loss. There will be no bankruptcy and I also feel Mel is working to make this a success. Rome was not built in a day and neither will building Sirius into the monopoly it has the potential to be. Nevetheless it will get done.
