  • Newcastle Investment reverse stock split takes effect [View news story]
Over the years I have never been on the right side of a Reverse Split in any position I have held. In the past after the reverse split I have lost my shirt. In this instance I am hoping for a better result as I believed in the mission of the company when I bought the stock over a year ago and still think their vision is on target. At least I hope so.... We will see!

  • Hemp, Inc. to Invest $1,000,000 in Banking Venture [View article]
When the MJ industry breaks out of this prohibition era the growth is going to be exponential. Hemp Inc. seems to be encompassing all aspects of the industry with on-growing consulting arrangements with companies from all sectors of the industry. My belief is that after the mid-term elections things will start to fall into place. Basically more states will want to take part in the revenues that can be generated through medical and recreational MJ.... We will see.

There was recently a poll taken in Colorado and 52% of the people noted that they would not vote for a politician that smoked MJ socially in a recreational environment. That might make the point for the more conservative states.

  • Marijuana Stocks: Half A Year In Review Part 1, Tier 1 [View article]
If you believe in the prospective growth of the green rush then you should buy and hold. If you do not ... then sell and cut your losses. Personally I believe we are on the fore front of the next "end to a prohibition era" ... only this time it is not alcohol but marijuana / hemp. This new market is going to replace the revenues lost by the downturn in tobacco use and replace them with the upsurge of medical and recreational marijuana usage being taxed by state government. When the tax revenue reports come in at the end of 2014... you can bet your bottom dollar the politicians across the country are going to push for legalization to get those tax revenues in to their budget planning.... If you think I am wrong then you better get out of this industry now....

Finally someone that sees through the recreational usage and the criticism of that particular end. I believe that the Medicinal uses are going to win the day and will open the door to a mega-billion dollar industry. In turn I predict that the behemoth companies like Pfizer, Abbot, Lorillard, Phillip Morris and others are going to take control and crush all of these micro cap start ups.... Right now there is a slow down in the green rush because a mid-term election is coming up in November and politicians do not want to be tied to recreational MJ usage or medical usage. They want to stay clear of any negative associations. Once the elections are over and the tax revenues in Colorado and Washington states show an incredible upside. You will then see all the politicians whose states are lagging in tax revenues jumping on board.... Watch the chain reaction in 2015....

  • Armour Residential: Long Or Short? [View article]
While others are running out if the building it just might be the time to run. Articles like this scare investors into selling shares at a loss and then looking back only to see the stock price rise back into normalized levels. It recently happen with IBM... I have a breakeven of $5.90 on ARR holding close to 3500 shares. I recognize that I have taken a loss if I were to sell but I have no intention to sell but rather will hold on collecting the dividends. I believe that this company will turn the corner and come back to my breakeven. Perhaps I am a wishful thinker....

The nationwide movement toward the east coast markets continues. Hopefully this company will confirm contracts with King Kullen, Stop and Shop, Associated Foods, Walgreens, WalMart and other major chains.... A celebrity athlete(s) or health fitness guru needs to become the product spokesman to get this product on national radio and TV ads.... That would bring brand and product recognition to the public eye!

The medical and recreational marijuana industry is definitely stalling at the moment. The reason that more states have not jumped on the bandwagon at this point in time is that the mid-term elections are coming up in Nov. 2014. No politician wants to position himself as the supporter of the MJ industry and maybe lose the election based on that association. After the election you will see another jump in the MJ industry across numerous states. The reason is that there are so many states that are well over budget and they need the tax revenue. The tobacco industry use to provide that tax revenue but more and more people are quitting or switching to vaporized e-cigs. The tobacco industry is no longer generating the tax revenues for states that it once did.... Now is the time to position yourself for the next big rally.... Then when the green rush takes off you need to make a call. Do you stay on the train or get off and cash out.... Your money, your call.... Good luck my friends.

@Trabob... I know that you have been reading and watching these articles as well as the comments left by these so called experts. Throwing darts at a list of stocks would have yielded better results.... For the most part I have been reading less and less by of these articles and the comments by the self-proclaimed gurus.... It cracks me up that despite the train wreck of advice flip flopped all over these articles in comments... a couple of these gurus are now hawking books... Give me a break.

  • Why I Think Hemp Inc. Is Soon Going Back Down To Under 10 Cents Per Share [View article]
NOW is a Great time to buy up shares and position yourself for the next rally. It may be down the road but that is OK. Fools invest as if playing at a card table thinking in the short and immediate term. The Green rush has stalled but it is going to see an incredible rise after the mid-term elections in Nov. 2014.... Reason is the politicians do not want to stick their neck out and be judged too severely for supporting the Green Machine..... Once the elections are over the states are going to recognize the tax revenue potential of legalization and the push will be on.... Once that happens the momentum will be great.... Then you have to make a call. Hold forever or sell out when your pockets are full or at least you are satisfied. Bulls and Bears survive, whilst Pigs get slaughtered..... Your money, your call.
