Propaganda? What exactly are you spouting? You stated, "for reallity to become clear" (sic) you need to see the other side. What is the other side? Where would you prefer to live? I would prefer to live in a country at peace, I see where you could mean peace through strength, but come on. The US has taken that to an entirely new level where the military is the country and not a part of it.

You also mentioned "propaganda was not the main cause of any of those" This article points out that the United States spends half the worlds budget on military expenditure fuels a race with those that are antagonized by our insane defense spending levels.

Is it propaganda to point out (truthfully) that those resources wasted on defending the US from all powerful enemy (which judged by the sheer volume of spending must mean, the rest of the world and maybe even the people here in the US as well) could be used to other more positively beneficial means?

Pointing out that the US has its objectives backwards, and that murder should not be the business of the US, sadly that is becoming our number one export.

The problem with currencies today is their susceptability to manipulation from the "governments" that control them. You will never have a stable currency that is wholly manipulatable. Stability in currency valuations and thus protection from the theft of inflation can only come from a commodity based currency.

Being an American is about personal independence and ownership, yes ownership, "I am" is the phrase we use not "ours". It is MY work, not our work, it is MY property not our property. I am not a slave, I own my life. I am sovereign and I delegate to the government I don't ASK government for permission they ask ME for permission! That is being American! Liberty is what America stands for, the shining city on a hill that leads by example. I said Example not Coercion.

People like you, that wish to regulate, and regulate and want for the common good and want to rule by committee and like averages. You know what average is? It is half way to terrible! I want excellent and you don't get excellent by making everyone average. So if you want average and you want community and common good and you want everyone to be equal through regulation by the Elite then go back to Europe or where ever you spent those 8 wonderful years but, don't go to Asia because they at least know what being excellent is! This communitarion crap you spout will not work there, they have had their chance to have a good long look at average and below average for quite a while and you know what. The Asians don't like it, who could blame them.

I want freedom to let people do what they want to do, be what they want to be. What is good for me is usually good for others.

What gave you the idea that we have a free market? The market hasn't been free since 1913, when the bankers took over and started printing debt money. This is all part of the boom bust cycle written about by Von Mises and others. All this has done has brought forward the inevitable bust (not the last by any means).

Passing that republic breaking act would only postpone it. The USA will NEVER pay off its debt, that is impossible to do with the current rules. The only way to fix this is to move back to a system of sound money that is not manipulatable by bankers and special interests.

If you want to get rid of the "corporate profit problem?" Get rid of the corporations tax and make all their income flow through to the share holders. This will cause a very different form of doing business, because retaining earnings will be taxed at the individual holder level so all corporate decisions will be directly felt by their share holders. This will have the business effect of creating companies run by democracies not by the select few at the top. I suppose that we would see companies less focused on huge profits. It would be interesting to see what would happen.

I suppose companies would be run like most small companies are today. Maximizing useful investment to grow the overall value of the business and minimizing any reportable profit through this investment. I think you would also see more corporates open up here in the US to avoid higher taxes elsewhere. Lower taxes equals more profits and less need to pass those taxes/costs on to consumers.

Also people would be more likely to get involved with the movement to curb government spending to minimise their own personal tax as a cheque will have to be written when shareholders get to pay the tax that Corporates used to pay.

Lets take a look at the gold old days when oil was $0.25/ gallon remember that was when $1 = 1 oz of Silver. As silver is US$18.30/oz it could be supposed that a silver quarter is worth in todays dollars is $4.58 FRN's so gas is still $.25 a gallon.

What does this mean, it means we are at a market price where supply and demand meet at a price that a supplier is happy to trade to a consumer at a price set by the market. The only supply that is increasing is FRN's and thus the reason for this bubble as Skjellifetti correctly suggested is the oversupply of worthless paper driving up the price of real value commodities (things people use to make real things)

Our economic problems today are 100% clearly on the shoulders of our intellectual superiors, the Government and all those brilliant people who set policy and get to spend all the newly created FRN's first. The speculators that are to blame are the ones who print the money and rob us all!
