Wal-Mart's Mistakes Are Fixable - This Stock's Cheap

Yea but WMT has been "everybody's whipping boy" for over five years. Your talking to retail investors. They are basically inconsequential to a company with float this large. Institutional sponsorship is what is needed to lift this thing and it isn't getting it. WHY? Because the big broker dealers are sick of seeing their other clients that they work with get pummeled relentlessly by WMT. Fund and portfolio managers cringe when they hear one of their holdings is announcing a deal with WMT. WHY? Because they know that WMT will grind them contractually and then shrink margins, or do something really dumb and piss off old higher margin customers to bend over backwards to meet WMTs demands. Ultimately s**t rolls down hill and PPS gets dinged.

WMT has very few friends institutionally and they are dumber than a box of wet hammers to not understand why. Just look at the latest flat screen debacle.

It's like that old joke. "How do you instantly lose twenty pounds of dumb weight? Cut off your head" The minute they cut Scott loose this thing will bounce five points.

And don't even get me started on their never ending parade of cute PR tricks...

One thing. 3G is dead and Apple was smart to do an end run on it because Wi-Max will bury 3G. Smart move. BTW take a look at the roll out smoothness of 3G and then re-ask yourself why you even asked the question in the first place.

One more thing. The quality of analysts these days is suspect at best. All the *best* people have been hoovered straight in to hedge funds and -- no disrespect intended -- are the ones not invited to the hedgies party.

Price? everybody I know is lining up to get one and price is of no concern -- none whatsoever. Business user's will be deluged (in short order) with all kinds of new apps so don't worry about business users. It is NOT a closed system as some have speculated.

It's all an empty threat. The military reality is that Iran would have about 5 minutes of petroleum reserves to fight any war and every general in every army around the world knows it (little domestic refining capacity -- remember?). Iran is importing over 170k B/D of gasoline now. They're sitting ducks and they are trying to make make hay while there is sunshine. Plenty of crude -- very little "fuel".....
