  • Bank Of America Common Stock Offers Solid Upside, But Warrants Offer More [View article]
It amazes me how it is not the same symbol but each broker or exchange has their own symbol so poke both in to be sure. TD Ameritrade has a plus sign.

    They can expire worthless.
    They pay no dividend.
They are like 1/16/2019 options but have no strike price.
They can be traded like a stock.
One warrant is 30% cheaper than buying one share of BAC.
If you think BAC common will be over $20 by 1/16/2019 then you want in big time.
Your $5.70 today, for one warrant, is looking for another $13.20 to pay on the other side for a total of $18.90 per share. Anything above is profit plus the dividend increases from now until 2019 is subtracted from the $13.20.
Example. Dividend goes up this year 5c. quarter. = $13.15
    Dividend goes up next year 25 cents= $12 90
Dividend goes up the following year 60 cents =$12.30 is needed to buy the share. Most likely you would just sell the option as the value would be closely to the same value as the stock all in all.
That is as close as I can get on the figures. It might be more complicated as we go along... lol lol

Correct me if wrong. The A shares exercise price was $`13.30 originally.
The 4 cent dividend increase quarterly dropped it to $13.26.
    Is my broker wrong?

Yes! More people will wait until the interest rates rise. That is why they are not borrowing now. People want higher interest rates.

•Over the long term, shareholders should see capital growth.
Do you think it will be in my life time? I am 75 and in good health.

As we all know by now, Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) got a slap on its wrist from the Fed for persistent capital planning deficiencies.
When do you think BAC will stop getting the slaps on the wrist?

True. There is a BIG market for resale of food stamps but like you said, the government doesn't care.

Recovering economy? Where? Food stamps up big time. Housing rates are the lowest in , like forever, and no one interested in purchasing. More war with Obama's WH. Now more munitions being used against ISIS in foreign countries. ($$$$) The U.S. deficit increased billions more.

fun fun has been correct. Time to own up to it. If you like to pray and think it works then buy BAC. Your guessing about the bank's future is just that. Everything they have done has been a screw up.
I am referring to the common only. The preferreds and warrants are great!

T is totally negative for growth as far as the stock appreciation goes. Bring out your scenarios, they don't work. If you want dividend, go into preferreds.
If you want growth, go into convertible preferreds. But to say T is going anywhere just look back a year or so. IT HAS GONE DOWN!!!
The only way I claw back some of my money is on the T options. It is not great money but with 12,000 shares it is something.
