  • Bank Of America: Still Disappointing Shareholders, But For How Much Longer? [View article]
The Institute for Supply Management’s gauge of manufacturing activity dipped to 51.5 in March, from 52.9 the month prior. The reading came in below Wall Street’s expectation for a shallower fall to 52.5

The private sector added 189,000 jobs in March, far below the 225,000 jobs economists expected, according to payroll processor ADP.

    Today's news. What great economy?

Again.... tell me what Obama did for the stock market! What you say has no facts to substantiate what you say.
Brought back the economy? He did what to bring back the economy?
What made the market ascend was a combination of factors.
    1. It could not get any worse.
    2. Excess people were terminated.
    3. Excess buildings were sold
    4. Loans at high interest rates were bought back
    5. Salaries were reduced.
Many more smaller thing were accomplished but this is a few that come to mind.
The economy now is stagnant to down. More food stamps. Lower car sales. Housing purchases below average with the lowest interest rates in history.

    Bank President Salary (United States)

A Bank President earns an average salary of $102,935 per year. A skill in Commercial Loans is associated with high pay for this job. Most people in this job have more than five years' experience in related jobs.

(Reuters) - Bank of America Corp's CEO Brian Moynihan was awarded a 73 percent pay increase in 2012, when the institution resolved crisis-era lawsuits and its stock was one of the sector's top performers.

The $12.1 million pay package likely means that Moynihan was one of the best paid CEO's on Wall Street in 2012, thanks in part to compensation cuts for rivals. Moynihan's base salary for 2013 also is due to rise by more than 55 percent, a person familiar with the situation said.

I agree, but his statement needs clarification. The President CAN improve the stock market but I do not see how he did anything for it.

It would of worked fine. GM going down would mean the workers went over to Ford or Toyota or Honda to pick up the slack. Instead GM was forgiven about 15 billion dollars of taxpayer monies.
The banks could of been nationalized and when the economy improved given back with new management. Instead the American taxpayers are still paying for it with negligible savings rates.
Who saves the private entrepreneur? Nobody! But so called to big to fail saved the pensions and exit benefits of the clowns that put this country into that position and no one goes to jail or is held accountable.

    Nice article.
You can talk book value and other metrics until you are blue in the face. NOTHING is being recognize for what it is. No one seems to care! Soooo what is a motivating factor? It isn't the dividend! It is not the management team! It is not the closing of many banks! It is not the employees being let go!
My take is it is the economy, stupid!!!!! Until we have a decent President in the White House this stock will languish. The ONLY way to get some $$$ from BAC is to use options or buy their preferreds.
For the long term dreamers I recommend prayer.
long BAC-L for 6% plus and Jan 20 options 2016

There is no definitive strike price because the strike price depends on the dividend increases put in and it will vary.
The broker doesn't even know how they arrived at today's exercise price of $13.203. he just mimics the T site.
Do you know how they came to that total AND WHAT IT IS BASED ON?

It amazes me how it is not the same symbol but each broker or exchange has their own symbol so poke both in to be sure. TD Ameritrade has a plus sign.
