Hub is very useful, you're in check for important stuff and you're done, I can then put the phone down and back to business.

BlackBerry has it right, hub is the way to do things.

I guess the point is to add satellite technology to the phone and not use app. This way you have one device and doesn't use data. Internet radio I feel its still better service receiving from network channels other then having to produce your own music or programing.

Personally I like old shows, talk showed, news, business news and music that is delivered to the radio. If you are on the go you can't produce programs that are new.

I'm a little tired of having to search for programing over the internet it takes to much time, I would prefer quality programs delivered to the device.

I had mentioned to blackberry to buy or team with sirius radio two years ago and that this would be perfect fit, I don't know but would love to have all my sports and entertainment while I'm on the road and only one device to carry.

This is not rocket science, cell carriers will get their cut on data plan and phones will sell big time and to adults, kids or iPhone lovers will want to try it too, which stimulates phone sells.

Sounds like BBRY is on the right track, the BES12 product must be a valuable product, why else would two big companies both see good reason to join forces to compete for this type of business. The product itself will sell itself, personally when I want to buy something I like to have a choice. This will give relevance to BBRY.

Competition is very good for business,

I love the $200 price, and if that price comes to Canada, it would be a phone to look at, buy it outright and find a good carrier.

I agree, apps are like candy for kids, and they look for phones to jailbreak so they can get apps for free.

I would buy app if it does the job, I found when I had a iPhone that the apps were barley ok. I tried the free versions and only ended up buying about 5 apps.

Currently only bought about 3 apps from blackberry and barely use them.

Blackberry has communication, great browser and smooth, as time goes I'm sure I will buy more apps but with 1Mobile APPS, Amazon apps store, all the free apps are there.

what about service plan you sign up for, like we all do now and get credit back on the cost of our phone data service when we buy product through AMAZON/

They would create new excitement for the phone and online purchasing environments for bought Blackberry and Amazon.

It would give consumers more reason to purchase onLine and save on the smart phone cost, as we all know are getting pricey. This would drive more customers to Amazon and to Blackberry to save money. Who can resist saving smart phone cost?

Just think a new marketing idea that currently not pursued by anyone.

great comment, I think the auto industry should do the same, give everyone a free car, after all they make all their money selling fuel.

Point is there are contract details that will hold you to contract of monthly payments you can't get away from.
