Now retired. I was a Health and Physical Education Major(College of New Jersey) and a USN Vietnam Veteran 1968-69. I invest in mostly large caps with dividends. I make about 20 trades a month, mostly on blue chips, building my positions and adjust my portfolio over time. I have been investing on my own since 2004 and like to invest in companies that produce products we will be using for at least ten years from now and beyond. I avoid banks, airlines, most flash in the pan tech names, and big pharma. I like energy, USA industrials, farming machinery and some rails. I feel that domestic energy stocks should be a part of all portfolios since America is now a major energy producer of natural gas and oil.
